Cartier Osaka seeks Client Adviser with luxury retail experience. Full-time role offering comprehensive training and mentorship in high-jewelry sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver consultative sales and personalized client service within the Cartier boutique, embodying the Maison's heritage and commitment to excellence
  • Manage client relationships and inventory documentation, ensuring accurate records and stock control
  • Process jewelry and watch repair requests with precision and attention to detail
  • Execute point-of-sale and operational tasks related to retail sales
  • Participate actively in four-day new-hire training in Tokyo, focusing on Cartier history, product knowledge, and sales methodology
  • Work alongside an assigned mentor (buddy) for the first three months to develop specialized business knowledge and professional competencies

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of professional sales or client-facing experience
  • Demonstrated background in luxury consumer goods, jewelry, or watch retail
  • Experience in high-end automotive sales, hospitality, fashion, or aviation customer service
  • Ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with discerning clientele
  • Flexible, responsive communication and problem-solving orientation
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and skill advancement
  • English or Mandarin Chinese language proficiency preferred; proficiency in Japanese required

Experience

Experience in department store external sales or boutique management is advantageous.

Education

Secondary education or equivalent; specialized certifications in jewelry or horology (e.g., GIA G.G., Jewelry Coordinator, Watch Coordinator credentials) are valued but not required.
