Montblanc seeks a Category Controller in Hamburg to drive margin analysis and financial planning for Writing Instruments, Leather, and Watches categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive margin analysis and planning through DECLAR, measuring margin deviations to budget and formulating revised forecast expectations as part of monthly KPIs
- Act as a business partner for the main business categories: Writing Instruments, Leather, and Watches
- Analyze and discuss contributive and gross margins for assigned categories
- Provide margin calculations for new product assortments and evaluate their financial success
- Implement sound processes for margin analysis and drive execution on forecasts and reporting
- Develop close working relationships with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, and Accounting teams
- Challenge financial planning objectives within the context of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controlling or related finance discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a comparable controller or financial analyst role
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience with SAP BW systems
- Fluent English communication skills
