Category Controller position at Richemont in Hamburg. Lead financial analysis and profitability management for luxury product categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse profitability and financial performance of assigned product categories
- Develop and monitor category budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to optimise margin and cost structure
- Prepare detailed financial reports and business intelligence for category managers and senior leadership
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvements
- Monitor inventory levels and stock turn metrics relative to financial targets
- Support pricing strategy and promotional effectiveness analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and Excel modelling
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion, or wholesale environments
- Strong understanding of category management and merchandise finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience with financial reporting and business intelligence tools
