Richemont is hiring a Business Development Manager in London to drive partnerships, wholesale growth and commercial agreements across luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute business development strategies to acquire new wholesale and retail partners and expand existing accounts across target markets.
- Build and nurture senior-level relationships with distributors, department stores, e-tail partners and institutional clients to secure commercial agreements and distribution deals.
- Prepare commercial proposals, business cases and financial forecasts; lead negotiations on pricing, margins and contractual terms.
- Collaborate with brand, product, retail and marketing teams to align assortment, launch plans and promotional activity with partner requirements.
- Monitor performance against KPIs, manage sales pipeline and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Represent the maison and Richemont at industry events, trade shows and client meetings to generate leads and elevate brand presence.
- Drive cross‑functional projects to streamline onboarding, logistics and after‑sales processes for new partners.
Qualifications
- Proven commercial track record in business development, wholesale or account management within the luxury goods, watches, jewellery or premium retail sector.
- Demonstrable success closing B2B agreements and managing complex negotiations with distributors or retail partners.
- Strong analytical capability with experience producing forecasts, P&L impact analyses and partner business cases.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to operate across multiple markets and time zones.

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, wholesale or commercial roles within luxury goods, watches/jewellery or premium retail, with a proven track record of securing and growing key accounts and distribution agreements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
