The Business Analytics Intern will conduct strategic analyses of customer behavior, journeys, acquisition, loyalty and campaign impact, query data primarily with SQL, and present actionable recommendations. This work-study contract lasts 12 or 24 months, begins as soon as possible, and typically includes two or three days per week in the company; other study schedules may be considered. The role is based in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analytical studies to address business challenges for the Maisons and Group functions.
- Analyze customer behavior and journeys.
- Identify acquisition, loyalty and repeat-purchase drivers.
- Measure the impact of campaigns and customer interactions.
- Query databases, primarily using SQL, to build relevant and reliable datasets for analysis.
- Create concise presentations, translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations, and present them to a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master 1 or Master 2 degree (Bac+4/5) at a business school, engineering school or university, specializing in Data or Statistics.
- Have used SQL in an academic project, internship, personal project or course.
- Comfort with Python is a strong plus.
- Strong interest in data analysis and an understanding of business challenges.
- Curious and rigorous, with a strong desire to learn and develop in data and its application to business challenges.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
