Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales through professional and courteous client interactions via phone, email, chat, and social media while meeting all service expectations and KPIs
- Handle all inbound calls and greet customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner; maintain comfort with outbound calls to nurture client relationships
- Process merchandise orders initiated via phone and website, executing data entry with accuracy and efficiency
- Stay informed of product launches, campaigns, and internal processes to address client inquiries regarding availability, product characteristics, service offerings, and related matters
- Partner with Van Cleef & Arpels boutique network to facilitate sales referrals and special client requests, ensuring optimal client experience
- Develop and execute clienteling plans for existing and prospective clients to cultivate lasting relationships through first-call resolution and ownership of all scenarios
- Consistently capture and accurately maintain client data utilizing available technology platforms to support relationship building and CRM initiatives
- Demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills to overcome objections, identify client needs and motivations, and close sales opportunities
- Provide recommendations and product expertise to enhance the client experience and position the Maison as a reference point for luxury high jewelry
- Assist with special projects supporting contact center operations, boutique network coordination, and outbound clienteling initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a contact center, customer service, or retail environment
- Experience in eCommerce and the luxury retail sector, preferably fashion or jewelry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated technical agility with multiple applications and systems
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM platforms, or comparable email and chat management tools preferred
- High level of maturity, poise, and sound business judgment when interacting with luxury clientele
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keyboarding proficiency of at least 50 wpm
- Strong understanding of formal and informal etiquette and professional manners
- Ability to handle highly sensitive clients and complex situations with discretion and composure
- Knowledge of high-end jewelry, timepieces, and gemstones is advantageous
Skills
Experience
3+ years of experience in a contact center, customer service environment, or retail setting, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience demonstrating comparable knowledge and capabilities. Prior experience in eCommerce and the luxury retail sector, particularly in fashion or jewelry, is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, with preference given to studies in Fashion, Retail, or a related field.
