Role & Responsibilities
- Execute diagnostics and quick repairs on all registered watches within one business day, maintaining turnaround time and technical efficiency standards
- Perform customer-authorized repair work according to brand authorization levels: quick-service (battery changes, band replacement), partial/water-resistance service, and complete overhauls
- Conduct quality assurance inspections of all completed repairs, both functionally and aesthetically, and report critical issues affecting service quality
- Maintain and service display watches according to approved authorization levels
- Maintain, calibrate, and service all technical tools, machines, and equipment; propose necessary investments for operational continuity
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop environment; manage kit boxes and component inventory according to recycling procedures
- Support retail sales staff during transactions with on-site adjustments, band changes, battery replacements, and real-time technical guidance
- Provide technical expertise during boutique events, masterclasses, and regional occasions
- Train BTQ personnel on technical aspects of new timepiece collections and personalization services
- Update technical knowledge through Vacheron Constantin e-learning modules and formal training programs
- Communicate with team members to develop technical solutions and improvements; escalate issues to technical management and boutique leadership
- Document procedures and suggest process improvements aligned with Richemont and brand standards
Qualifications
- Completed professional apprenticeship as a watchmaker-rhabilleur (watch repair technician)
- Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience with high-end luxury watch brands
- Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and automatic timepieces
- Expert-level precision in component restoration and aesthetic finishing
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict quality standards and turnaround timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with international clientele and luxury retail environments
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)

Experience
5–10 years of professional experience in high-end watch servicing and repair, preferably with luxury brands. Demonstrated track record of delivering complex repairs to the highest quality standards within tight timelines.
Education
