Richemont seeks a Boutique Watchmaker in Seoul — experienced watchmaker to service high‑end timepieces in a Richemont boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair high‑end mechanical and quartz timepieces to the brand’s technical standards.
  • Perform movement disassembly, cleaning (ultrasonic), lubrication, timing regulation and reassembly; carry out pressure testing and demagnetization as required.
  • Execute case and bracelet adjustments, polishing and minor cosmetic repairs consistent with maison presentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate repair records, parts requests and warranty documentation; escalate complex repairs to authorized service centres when necessary.
  • Ensure the boutique workshop and instrument calibration (timing machine, pressure tester, demagnetizer) meet health, safety and quality directives.
  • Deliver discreet, professional client communication regarding diagnostics, lead times and service outcomes, liaising closely with boutique sales and after‑sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in watchmaking (WOSTEP, equivalent vocational qualification), or demonstrable equivalent apprenticeship training.
  • Strong manual dexterity and proven ability to service mechanical and quartz movements.
  • Familiarity with brand quality control procedures and warranty handling.
  • Ability to work independently within a boutique environment while collaborating with sales and after‑sales colleagues.
