Cartier Boutique Watchmaker in Frankfurt — Richemont seeks experienced horologist for luxury timepiece repair and maintenance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose watchmaking problems with precision and prepare detailed repair estimates
  • Perform comprehensive maintenance and repair work on Cartier timepieces in strict accordance with the maison's quality standards
  • Conduct thorough quality control testing of accuracy, water resistance, and all functions following each repair or maintenance service
  • Order, manage, and maintain inventory of replacement parts and specialized watchmaking tools
  • Provide expert customer consultation regarding watch condition, required repairs, and care recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workshop environment in compliance with company protocols
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current with watchmaking techniques and Cartier products

Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as a watchmaker (e.g., Uhrmachergeselle/in, state-certified watchmaker, or equivalent qualification)

  • Thorough knowledge of repair and maintenance of quartz and mechanical watch movements
  • Pronounced fine motor skills, precision, and keen attention to detail
