The Boutique Supervisor assists the Store Manager with daily operations, staffing and customer concerns, while leading a store department and supporting sales and client relationships. The role is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations in line with company policies and Store Management guidelines.
- Manage staffing issues, including planning shifts and rotas, to maintain store performance.
- Address customer issues and complaints promptly to improve customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate product and service features, connecting them to customer needs to drive sales.
- Provide advanced product and service information and respond to complex customer inquiries.
- Lead day-to-day operations for a specific store department and ensure an efficient workflow.
- Record and process custom and special orders, coordinating with relevant teams for delivery.
- Handle basic escalations and provide required managerial approvals.
- Design monthly schedules and assign tasks to ensure high-priority work is completed.
- Present additional products and services during customer interactions to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct customer interviews to clarify requirements and assist with prospective customer interviews.
- Develop customer relationships through proactive outreach and serve as the first point of contact for queries and complaints.
- Identify and recommend products and services that meet customer needs and encourage purchases.
- Participate in professional development to enhance capabilities and stay current with industry best practices.
- Prioritize and manage personal workflow to meet productivity, quality and timeliness standards.
- Use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
Qualifications
