Richemont seeks a BTQ Residence Manager in Osaka to lead boutique residence operations and VIP client relations across Kansai.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the boutique residence offering across the Kansai region, ensuring alignment with maison service standards and guest experience protocols.
  • Lead, coach and schedule a multidisciplinary team including concierge, client advisors and hospitality staff to deliver personalised VIP service.
  • Act as primary liaison for high-net-worth clients and their entourages; anticipate needs, manage bespoke requests and maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Plan and execute private events, client visits and curated experiences in coordination with boutiques, marketing and local partners.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships and procurement for residence operations, including service contracts, hospitality supplies and logistics.
  • Collaborate with retail, clienteling and CRM teams to capture client data, follow up on sales opportunities and coordinate aftercare for delivered products.
  • Implement quality-control processes, safety and security protocols and compliance with local regulations for private client spaces.
  • Report on KPIs, client feedback and operational metrics to regional leadership and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail, high-end hospitality or private client services; preferably within jewellery, watches or premium accessories maisons.
  • Experience managing teams and multi-site or multi-stakeholder operations; demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a demonstrable history of serving VIP and ultra-high-net-worth clients with discretion.
  • Operational competence including budgeting, vendor management and event planning for intimate, high-touch experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, luxury management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Native-level Japanese and professional working proficiency in English preferred to operate effectively across Kansai and with international stakeholders.

Experience
