Van Cleef & Arpels Sydney Flagship seeks Boutique Operations Manager to lead store operations, team and compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all administration, inventory, operations and logistics within the boutique
- Ensure proper understanding and execution of all brand guidelines and procedures related to store operations with the team
- Monitor daily financial aspects of boutique sales and ensure accurate submission of transactions and paperwork to Corporate/Richemont
- Manage supplier coordination, daily boutique maintenance, and supply chain replenishment
- Motivate, support and develop the back-of-house team through regular meetings and awareness of new projects and events
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of the back-of-house team
- Train all new boutique team members on financial guidelines, Richemont operations and sales-related processes
- Oversee boutique stock and inventory management, ensuring daily and periodic counts comply with Richemont guidelines
- Coordinate with Marketing on planning high-value product movements and participate in Richemont audits
- Monitor boutique security, health and safety standards; develop action plans to address operational concerns
- Manage daily opening and closing procedures and boutique setup
- Serve as point of reference for customer service workshop and omnichannel functions based in the boutique
- Maintain strong partnerships with relevant office stakeholders and contractors including security, logistics, cleaning, and repair services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four to five years of management experience in a fast-paced luxury environment
- Excellent understanding of luxury client experience and omnichannel retail
- Strong knowledge of operations, omnichannel, customer service, security and IT functions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive approach to identifying and implementing operational improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and people management capability
- Strong computer skills and technical proficiency
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities

Experience
Four to five years of management experience in a fast-paced luxury retail environment, with demonstrated success in boutique operations, team leadership, and multi-functional stakeholder management.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of advanced professional experience in luxury retail management
