Operations Coordinator at Cartier Soho, New York. Manage boutique operations, inventory, and compliance for luxury jewelry retail. $28-$30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all boutique policies and procedures; champion adherence across the team
- Coordinate efficient opening and closing procedures and participate in daily setup and breakdown
- Manage product movement including shipments, transfers, consignments, and internal logistics while maintaining quality control and preventing loss
- Monitor financial aspects of boutique operations; ensure daily transactions and documentation are submitted accurately and timely to corporate teams
- Support transactional flows including ecommerce operations to ensure seamless client experience
- Coordinate inventory control processes including daily/weekly/monthly counts, stock movements, and annual inventory execution
- Uphold Cartier environmental standards including maintenance, vendor relations, tools, technology, and equipment
- Partner with client-facing teams to manage boutique supply inventory, replenishment needs, and back-of-house organization
- Assist with care service responsibilities including repair flow execution and monthly inventory reconciliation
- Support boutique audit success and implement management-directed action plans
- Develop fundamental brand knowledge regarding Cartier heritage and values
- Remain current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and community connections
- Share operational best practices with regional and network peers
- Project professional appearance and approachable demeanor while fostering a positive, collaborative boutique environment
- Provide analytical and organizational support to client-facing teams; offer solutions and ideas for process improvement
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous operations experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is a plus
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments with accuracy and precision
- Strong attention to detail with capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and travel for training as needed
- Physical capability to frequently move packages and product

Skills
Experience
Previous operations experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is preferred, though not required.
Education
