Richemont (Cartier) seeks a Boutique Operations Associate in Nagoya to support boutique operations and client service at Takashimaya JR.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day boutique operations at the Nagoya Takashimaya Cartier boutique, ensuring a seamless client experience and adherence to brand standards.
  • Manage stockroom and inventory processes: receive deliveries, perform stock counts, process transfers and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and perform cash handling, transaction reconciliation and administrative duties with confidentiality and precision.
  • Assist visual merchandising and boutique presentation, implementing window and in-store layouts in line with seasonal directives.
  • Coordinate service and after-sales logistics including repairs, alterations and liaison with maison service teams and external vendors.
  • Contribute to clienteling activities by preparing client appointments, packaging and shipment of purchases, and ensuring meticulous client file management.
  • Enforce compliance with security, loss-prevention and luxury retail operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or hospitality qualification preferred.
  • 1–3 years' experience in retail operations, ideally within a luxury or premium-brand boutique environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational rigour and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks concurrently.
  • Discreet, service-oriented demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and a polished professional presence.
  • Practical knowledge of inventory control, stockroom processes and POS operations.
  • Fluent Japanese; business-level English desirable.

Experience
