Montblanc Boutique Manager position in Tokyo. Lead luxury retail operations, manage teams, and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily boutique operations and ensure adherence to brand standards
- Develop and execute local sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and KPIs
- Recruit, train, and supervise boutique staff to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Manage inventory, stock control, and merchandise presentation across the store
- Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients through personalized service and clienteling initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Montblanc policies, health and safety regulations, and financial procedures
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a boutique or retail store manager in luxury segment
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Fluent in English and Japanese
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of retail management experience, with at least 3 years in a luxury or premium retail environment, preferably in a standalone boutique or flagship store setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in business, retail management, or hospitality is advantageous.
