Richemont is hiring a Boutique Manager in Tokyo to lead a luxury boutique, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the boutique's day‑to‑day operations and ensure exemplary customer service consistent with the maison's standards.
  • Drive sales performance against targets through coaching, incentive management and in‑store sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain high‑value client relationships using clienteling methodologies and CRM to maximise lifetime value and retention.
  • Recruit, train and mentor boutique staff; create development plans and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and visual merchandising to uphold brand presentation and product availability.
  • Take ownership of boutique P&L drivers: sales, payroll, shrinkage control and controllable expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, loss‑prevention procedures and local regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with regional management, wholesale and marketing teams to implement launches, events and localised commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in luxury retail; ideally 5+ years in retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or store manager role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing sales team.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales forecasts, stock turns and basic P&L responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills, with a track record of building relationships with high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Fluent Japanese and business‑level English preferred; additional languages advantageous.
  • High standards of personal presentation and professional conduct in alignment with a luxury maison.

Experience
