Cartier seeks an experienced Boutique Director for its Toronto Yorkdale location to lead retail operations, drive sales growth, and elevate client experiences in luxury jewelry retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and elevate the boutique team to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive sales performance against KPIs
  • Initiate and lead the implementation of growth strategy plans tailored to local market opportunities and competitive landscape
  • Build and develop high-performing teams through strategic talent evaluations, performance management, and individual career succession planning
  • Proactively initiate and lead the boutique client development vision, cultivating Prestige partnerships and implementing innovative client engagement strategies
  • Drive continuous operational improvements including inventory management, budget oversight, compliance with procedures, and optimization of client journeys
  • Communicate compelling vision and inspire the team toward a shared vision through inclusivity, managerial courage, and emotional intelligence
  • Partner strategically with Corporate departments (Commercial, Merchandising, Marketing) to align on key business messages and opportunities
  • Champion and promote change as a positive necessity, managing resistance and identifying holistic solutions to business challenges
  • Act as Maison ambassador, upholding Cartier standards in boutique maintenance, heritage representation, and external engagement across social media and community initiatives
  • Mentor and coach the team on exceptional client discovery, relationship-building, and prestige market strategies

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of progressive management experience in luxury retail or hospitality
  • Proven track record of leading leaders and managing direct reports in complex environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing retail business strategies that drive growth
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Advanced language skills are preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; additional language proficiency is advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 150,000 to CAD 170,000 per annum.
