Richemont seeks Boutique Director for Vacheron Constantin Ginza flagship store in Tokyo, Japan. Lead luxury retail operations and clienteling strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and market expansion across domestic and international client segments while strengthening the Maison's prestige and appeal through strategic partnerships and limited-product launches
- Develop and execute strategic clienteling initiatives focused on customer acquisition and retention, hosting exclusive events and previews to engage VIP clientele
- Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Vacheron Constantin's identity and values while maintaining consistency of the premium Maison experience for customers and prospects
- Establish and cultivate the VVIP client database, managing individual relationships with key clients and strategic stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue
- Achieve quantitative and qualitative performance targets aligned with Maison and group objectives, proposing and executing dynamic action plans to meet sales and boutique goals
- Lead boutique team with sales-focused leadership, establishing KPI-driven performance targets and consistently monitoring business metrics to drive results
- Ensure flawless execution of all Richemont and Maison procedures, maintaining compliance with brand and group policies while delivering exceptional in-store performance
- Identify and address competitive dynamics and market conditions affecting domestic business, maintaining detailed market intelligence
- Design optimal organizational structure, recruit and retain top talent, and proactively build a sustainable talent pipeline within the boutique
- Provide coaching, training, and professional development to boutique team members, fostering a high-performance culture and strong team cohesion aligned with Maison strategy
- Serve as the primary liaison between the boutique and group headquarters, coordinating presentations, visits, and event planning with international partners
Qualifications
- 10–12 years of leadership experience in luxury retail, boutique management, or equivalent executive roles
- Extensive experience building and managing relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury brand management, market trends, and consumer expectations within the high-end sector
- Proven operational excellence in multi-faceted store operations, cost management, and boutique-wide experience enhancement
- Fluent English proficiency in both written and spoken communication
- Native-level or fluent Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Natural leadership ability with a track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams
- Deep knowledge of Swiss watchmaking heritage, Vacheron Constantin's history, and luxury horology sector

Education
