Richemont is hiring a Boutique Director in Singapore to lead a flagship boutique, drive sales performance and cultivate VIP client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations of a flagship or boutique store, ensuring brand standards in presentation, service and merchandising are consistently upheld.
- Own boutique P&L: set and deliver sales targets, monitor margins, control costs and implement corrective actions to maximise profitability.
- Recruit, develop and coach a high‑performing sales and store operations team; implement training and succession plans aligned with maison standards.
- Drive an exceptional client experience and long‑term client development strategy through personalised service, clienteling and events.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment and loss‑prevention procedures to optimise availability and minimise shrinkage.
- Collaborate with regional management on commercial planning, seasonal assortments, visual merchandising and promotional initiatives.
- Analyse sales KPIs and market trends to inform local business plans and reporting to regional leadership.
- Manage boutique administrative responsibilities including budgeting, payroll coordination, compliance with local regulations and brand policies.
- Plan and execute in‑store events, VIP appointments and collaborations to strengthen the boutique’s profile in the local market.
- Maintain strong relations with maison support functions (merchandising, CRM, visual merchandising, client services) to ensure operational alignment.
Qualifications
- Proven record of delivering sales growth and managing P&L within luxury retail, preferably in watches, jewellery or premium leather goods.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary boutique teams and implementing coaching or talent development programmes.
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong capability in KPI analysis, forecasting and operational budgeting.
- Superior client relationship skills with a track record of developing and retaining high‑value clients.
- Ability to implement and enforce brand standards in merchandising, visual presentation and client service.
- Comfortable liaising with cross‑functional corporate teams and adapting to a matrix organisational structure.

Experience
Typically requires 7+ years in luxury retail with progressive responsibility; a minimum of 3 years in a store leadership role (store manager, boutique manager or equivalent) with demonstrable P&L accountability.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality, fashion or equivalent professional experience.
