Richemont is recruiting a Boutique Director in New York — lead boutique operations, sales and a luxury retail team for a Richemont maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day boutique operations and assume full accountability for commercial performance including sales, margins and local P&L objectives.
- Recruit, develop and coach a high-performing sales team to deliver exemplary client service, clienteling and repeat business.
- Drive and execute local retail strategies in alignment with maison guidelines, including visual merchandising, product launches and in-store marketing.
- Manage inventory lifecycle: allocations, stock reconciliation, ageing, loss-prevention and accurate reporting to regional management.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to brand standards, compliance policies, luxury client protocols and corporate governance.
- Partner with regional leadership and HQ functions to implement KPI tracking, promotional activity and talent planning for the boutique.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail with responsibility for store P&L and team management.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding retail sales targets in a premium or ultra-luxury environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, clienteling expertise and familiarity with luxury product categories (watches, jewelry or leather goods).
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to attract, retain and develop top retail talent.
- High standards of professionalism, discretion and a client-first orientation.

Experience
Several years of progressive retail experience within the luxury sector, including multiple years in a managerial or director-level role with direct responsibility for sales targets, team leadership and boutique operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail, business, hospitality or a related discipline; industry-specific diplomas or vocational qualifications are acceptable.
