Alaïa Store Director, New Bond Street, London – Lead luxury boutique operations, sales, and team development at this iconic fashion Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive boutique sales to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets whilst identifying and implementing growth opportunities
- Lead by example on the sales floor, managing client relationships personally and motivating the team on client development and retention
- Elevate the in-store experience through exceptional client service aligned with Alaïa's values, coaching the team on the selling ceremony and clienteling practices
- Champion clienteling activities and leverage related tools to achieve client retention, recruitment, and reactivation targets
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, establishing clear responsibilities and conducting regular performance reviews with actionable feedback
- Build and develop a strong network of corporate partners and business contributors to enhance visibility and sales
- Ensure compliance with Maison policies, procedures, and brand standards whilst supervising boutique operations including inventory, payroll, and back-office administration
- Monitor visual merchandising standards and maintain the boutique's physical environment to Alaïa's exacting specifications
- Stay informed about competitors' activities and luxury fashion market trends, providing actionable insights to support strategic planning
- Communicate and motivate the team around the Maison's strategy and vision, fostering a positive, business-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Strong experience in luxury retail with a proven track record in sales, client development, and team management
- Dynamic and inspiring leadership with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Strategic thinking with excellent analytical skills and capability to develop and execute long-term visions
- Expertise in delivering elevated client experiences and building long-lasting relationships
- Solid understanding of the luxury fashion market and client behaviour, particularly in international contexts
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous

Extensive experience in luxury retail management with a strong track record in driving sales performance, developing client relationships, and leading high-performing retail teams. International luxury market exposure is strongly preferred.
