Vacheron Constantin seeks an experienced Boutique Director to lead its London flagship on Old Bond Street and Club 1755, managing strategy, luxury retail operations, and UHNW client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term strategic plan for the boutique and Club 1755, aligning with global retail objectives and brand vision
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities within London and the UK luxury landscape to drive sustained growth and market share
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and client insights using internal data platforms to inform proactive strategic decisions
  • Lead planning and execution of high-profile client events, partnerships, and brand activations to enhance visibility and attract high-value clientele
  • Ensure robust performance, effective budget management, and optimization of resources to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) and High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients, collectors, and key opinion leaders
  • Develop and implement bespoke clienteling strategies to enhance client loyalty, drive repeat business, and increase average transaction value
  • Oversee delivery of exceptional, personalized client experience reflecting Vacheron Constantin's heritage of excellence and craftsmanship
  • Act as primary brand ambassador, representing the Maison at exclusive events and fostering an influential network of contacts
  • Develop a high-performing, client-centric team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Implement coaching programs to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, clienteling skills, and luxury service standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to support team development
  • Develop succession plans for key boutique roles, identifying and nurturing future leaders
  • Promote a positive and engaging work environment that motivates the team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Ensure flawless execution of dual boutique operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, security, and compliance
  • Animate Club 1755 to elevate customer experience through bespoke clienteling activities, events, and exhibitions
  • Maintain highest standards of boutique presentation and atmosphere, reflecting the Maison's luxury image and heritage
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Merchandising, Client Service, HR) to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment
  • Uphold and champion Vacheron Constantin's brand values, history, and craftsmanship in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a flagship or high-value boutique
  • Proven track record of driving significant sales growth, particularly in high-value segments, and achieving ambitious business objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and performance analysis within the luxury sector with a results-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with a history of building, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor with high level of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct
  • Strong clienteling expertise and deep understanding of UHNW/HNW client expectations and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Passionate about luxury, craftsmanship, and client service
  • Deep understanding and proven exposure to the Mayfair environment and local luxury client communities
  • Knowledge of the luxury watch industry, Vacheron Constantin's heritage and product collections is preferred
