Cartier seeks a Boutique Director in Charlotte, NC to lead sales, team development, and client experiences at this prestigious luxury jewellery house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the boutique team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Initiate and implement growth strategy plans that drive sustainable boutique expansion and competitive positioning through Cartier's distinctive values and offerings
  • Build high-performing teams through strategic talent evaluation, performance management, and career development planning
  • Proactively develop and lead boutique client development strategy, role-modelling exceptional relationship-building and personal savoir-faire
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, compliance oversight, inventory management, and budget optimization
  • Serve as Cartier ambassador both internally and externally, embodying the maison's heritage and upholding boutique image standards
  • Partner strategically with corporate functions including Commercial, Merchandising, and Marketing to communicate key business opportunities and align on initiatives
  • Cultivate prestige client partnerships and proactively identify strategies to increase prestige sales and high-value client relationships
  • Manage complex operational environments including multi-location oversight, boutique openings, and high-visibility VIP events
  • Champion change management and foster a culture of agility, inclusivity, and continuous learning across the boutique team

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of management experience, particularly in luxury retail or hospitality
  • Proven track record leading leaders and managing direct reports in complex retail environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic business planning, sales growth, and client development
  • Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics, client service priorities, and prestige client relationship management
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Multilingual capabilities (preferred)

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Additional language capabilities are advantageous.
