Cartier Tokyo seeks a Guest Relations Associate to deliver exceptional hospitality managing client wait times and boutique operations. Full-time position requiring Japanese and English or Mandarin fluency.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients upon entry and across boutique floors, ensuring optimal customer experience and appropriate placement with sales associates
- Manage client wait times using boutique management systems, providing accurate wait estimates and coordinating seamless transitions to available sales staff
- Guide clients to seating, offer beverages and reading materials, and coordinate ancillary services including gift wrapping, taxi arrangements, and merchandise transport
- Assist sales associates by delivering products and returning them to designated locations
- Execute back-office sales support tasks including warranty documentation, gift wrapping coordination, and special care services
- Participate in daily boutique operations including inventory counts, price labeling, store opening and closing procedures, and visual merchandise implementation
- Maintain boutique supplies inventory and coordinate replenishment of bags, beverages, printed materials, and office supplies
- Ensure all boutique display windows, counters, and service areas are maintained in immaculate condition
- Uphold all company, Maison, and boutique policies, procedures, and guidelines with consistent professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum retail or service sector experience; luxury industry background highly desirable
- Fluency in Japanese and English or Mandarin Chinese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP retail portal and business intelligence systems preferred
