Richemont seeks a Boutique Assistant at Cartier Paris for a 3-month internship supporting luxury retail operations, client service, and boutique excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Embodies the image and values of Cartier through exemplary grooming and professional conduct
- Welcomes clients with genuine hospitality, identifies their intentions, seats them, and provides beverage and hospitality service
- Organizes supply and daily maintenance of beverage and catering stations throughout the boutique
- Prepares gift wrapping, coordinates certificates of authenticity and GIA documents, and provides packaging support
- Performs quality verification (double-check of serial numbers) before sales associate invoicing
- Executes personalization services including engraving and embossing of leather goods and cases (following dedicated training)
- Performs cleaning and polishing services for jewelry and timepieces
- Conducts watch sizing and bracelet cord replacement (following designated training)
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of sales floor and back-office areas
- Prepares and restocks sales tables with all necessary tools and supplies (ring gauges, pens, notepads, magnifying glasses, sizing tools, calculators, gloves, etc.)
- Identifies and escalates boutique maintenance needs to management
- Coordinates orders for consumables (cases, shopping bags, etc.) and office supplies
Qualifications
- Fluent French and English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong orientation toward client service and satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of luxury retail and the watchmaking/jewelry sector
- Professional appearance and presentation

Skills
Experience
Previous retail or hospitality experience in a luxury environment is preferred; experience supporting sales operations or managing client-facing activities demonstrates readiness for the role.
Education
Secondary education (baccalauréat or equivalent) required; additional training will be provided for specialized services such as engraving, polishing, and watch adjustments.
