Cartier Hudson Yards seeks part-time Boutique Assistant for temporary long-term role delivering luxury client experiences in New York. $23–$24/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment aligned with Cartier Values, enhancing the client journey from arrival through departure
- Assist boutique team with appointment preparation, client entertainment, product presentation, sales finalization, gift wrapping, and food & beverage service
- Support appointment flow by assisting with impactful discovery and pre-appointment browsing experiences
- Manage boutique traffic flow and oversee daily appointment booking tool (RDV) and queue management
- Maintain visual standards of wrap rooms and organization of Client Services areas
- Replenish daily needs for sales and hospitality areas, support order processes, and ensure optimal storage organization
- Provide elevated personal services including directions, restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, and floral orders
- Support phone operations, including incoming calls, message retrieval, and appointment setting
- Execute complimentary client services including strap changes, watch sizing, steam cleaning, cord changes, engraving, and embossing
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown
- Partner with Operations Coordinator on non-sellable stock maintenance
- Remain current on industry news, competition, and community engagement while upholding operational excellence
Qualifications
- Professional appearance, approachable demeanor, and ability to project Cartier standards
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending or kneeling for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift and move items up to approximately 45 lbs.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends
- Flexibility to travel for training as needed
- Availability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or service environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to hospitality excellence and client-centric service delivery in a luxury context.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality, retail management, or related field is a plus.
