Cartier Hudson Yards seeks a Boutique Assistant for a long-term temporary role in New York. $23–$25/hr, retail hours plus weekends. Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment to enhance the client journey from beginning to end, aligned with Cartier values
- Assist boutique team with front-of-house and back-of-house activities to facilitate seamless client experiences, including appointment preparation, product presentation, sales finalization, gift wrapping, and food & beverage service
- Support appointment booking through the RDV system, manage boutique traffic flow, and assist with queue management
- Maintain visual standards of wrap rooms and organization of Client Services areas
- Maintain and replenish daily needs for sales and hospitality areas, support the order process, and ensure optimal storage organization
- Support client services including appointment setting, restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, and creation of supporting materials
- Assist with quick service requests and personalization services such as strap changes, watch sizing, steam cleaning, cord changes, engraving, and embossing
- Participate in daily setup and breakdown of boutique for opening and closing operations
- Partner with Operations Coordinator to manage stock maintenance of non-sellables
- Uphold security and operational procedures while remaining current on industry news and community connections
- Contribute to a positive and productive boutique environment through collaborative teamwork and professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills and technology proficiency
- MS Office experience required; SAP knowledge preferred
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and travel for training as needed
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Collaborative approach with a 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn

Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences in fast-paced environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality, retail management, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
