Richemont in McLean, VA seeks a Boutique Assistant (Long-Term Temporary Assignment) to support boutique sales, client service and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, client-focused service: greet clients, qualify needs, present product and build client relationships.
- Support sales transactions and boutique operations via point-of-sale (POS) processing, accurate cash handling and closing procedures.
- Maintain boutique visual and merchandising standards, including product presentation, replenishment and window displays.
- Assist with inventory management: receive and process deliveries, conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage client appointments, follow-up and basic clienteling activities using boutique CRM procedures.
- Support in-store events and VIP appointments, coordinating logistics with store management and maison representatives.
- Adhere to brand security, loss-prevention and compliance procedures while maintaining a polished boutique environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or luxury coursework advantageous.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Professional grooming and a service-oriented demeanour consistent with luxury retail standards.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to handle light physical tasks (stock replenishment, box handling).
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1+ year of retail or luxury sales experience, with prior boutique or high-end customer service exposure highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail or luxury-focused vocational training preferred.
