Delvaux seeks Boutique Assistant Manager in Hong Kong to oversee store operations, sales team, and merchandising for the luxury leather goods maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee merchandising, financial management, and overall store operations to achieve sales performance targets
- Manage day-to-day operations of a medium to large boutique with diverse product lines, optimizing front end, back end, and sales floor functions
- Identify and address team development needs using formal development frameworks; plan and implement continuing professional development initiatives
- Provide informal training and coaching to enhance team performance and professional capabilities
- Develop and communicate customer issue resolution protocols and next steps
- Create medium- and long-term work schedules to achieve business objectives across multiple teams
- Manage and evaluate performance of a substantial, diverse team; set performance objectives and hold individuals accountable
- Communicate strategy and business plan implementation within the team, linking to broader organizational mission, vision, and values
- Configure complex product-and-services solutions and contractual terms to meet customer needs; present and negotiate agreements within commercial parameters
- Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues
- Define order processing protocols to optimize customer experience
- Set clear objectives for sales interactions; develop tailored presentations and gather relevant information to confirm customer requirements
- Identify opportunities to grow customer account value through product and service expansion
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex potential customer accounts
