Richemont seeks a Boutique Assistant Intern in Madrid to support boutique operations, client service and visual merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily boutique operations including opening/closing procedures and visual merchandising upkeep to ensure brand standards are consistently met.
  • Assist sales teams with clienteling activities: welcome clients, manage appointments, provide product advice and follow up to cultivate long-term relationships.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) transactions, process payments and maintain accurate sales and client records in the boutique CRM or sales system.
  • Manage stockroom activities: receive and unpack deliveries, perform inventory counts, prepare merchandise for the sales floor and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Provide administrative support including appointment scheduling, handling client communications, and preparing materials for in-store events and private viewings.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team on events and promotional initiatives, ensuring a seamless client experience during launches and VIP appointments.
  • Learn and communicate brand history, product details and craftsmanship attributes to reinforce the maison’s luxury positioning.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s programme in Business, Fashion, Luxury Brand Management, Hospitality or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a client-focused demeanour.
  • Professional appearance and an appreciation for luxury brand standards and discretion.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and occasional evenings.

Experience

Internships or up to 1 year of customer-facing retail experience is preferred; previous exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is an advantage but not mandatory.

Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, Luxury Brand Management, Hospitality or a related discipline.
