Richemont in Houston seeks a Boutique Assistant (long-term temporary assignment) to support boutique operations, client service and sales support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide polished, client-focused service on the boutique floor: greet clients, qualify needs and support the sales cycle.
- Assist senior sales advisors with appointments, clienteling follow-up and maintaining client records.
- Support boutique operations, including stock replenishment, receiving, inventory audits and visual merchandising upkeep to brand standards.
- Handle transactional duties such as POS operations, cash handling and reconciliation, and prepare sales paperwork.
- Maintain boutique presentation: window and floor merchandising, product care, and housekeeping to ensure a luxury environment.
- Manage telephone and e-mail enquiries, schedule appointments and coordinate boutique events or trunk shows when required.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, brand confidentiality and compliance procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; tertiary study in retail, hospitality or a related discipline is a plus.
- Right to work in the United States (authorization to work in Houston, TX).
- Professional appearance and strong standards of presentation aligned with luxury retail.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holiday periods for a long-term temporary assignment.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is preferred; 1+ year in luxury or premium retail, hospitality or client-facing sales roles is desirable. Demonstrated experience supporting sales advisors and executing boutique operations is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in retail, hospitality or business is advantageous.
