Cartier Boston seeks Boutique Assistant for long-term temporary role emphasizing luxury client hospitality, boutique operations, and exceptional service delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment to enhance the client journey from beginning to end, aligned with Cartier values
- Assist boutique teams with front-of-house and back-of-house activities including appointment preparation, client entertainment, product presentation, and sales finalization such as gift wrapping and beverage service
- Support appointment services by facilitating impactful discovery and pre-appointment browsing for clients
- Manage boutique traffic flow and daily appointment booking systems (RDV) and queue management as needed
- Maintain visual standards of wrap rooms and organize Client Services areas
- Maintain and replenish daily supplies for sales and hospitality areas, support ordering processes, and ensure optimal storage organization
- Provide elevated client treatment and personal services including restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, and floral orders
- Assist with phone duties, managing incoming calls, message retrieval, and appointment scheduling for phone inquiries
- Support quick service requests and personalization services including strap changes, watch sizing, steam cleaning, and engraving
- Participate in daily boutique setup and breakdown for opening and closing operations
- Partner with the Operations Coordinator to manage stock maintenance of non-sellable items
- Understand and comply with security and operational procedures
- Remain current on industry news, local and global competition, and community connections
- Uphold Cartier standards with a professional appearance, manner, and demeanor
- Contribute to a positive and productive boutique environment through collaborative teamwork
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with technology
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and precision
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 45 lbs
- Comfort with climbing stairs in multi-level locations
- Ability to work safely with glassware during hosting and service operations
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends
- Willingness to travel for training as needed
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is advantageous, though entry-level candidates with strong service orientation and commitment to excellence may be considered. Education
