Richemont seeks Automation Technician Apprentice in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland for August 2027 intake. CFC apprenticeship in automation and PLC programming.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, install, and commission electromechanical control systems and automated production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated installations and technical systems
- Develop and program PLC software to control automated systems
- Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation for all installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions with precision
- Collaborate with workshop teams and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education level B (minimum entry requirement)
- Strong proficiency in mathematics, technical drawing, and physics
- Demonstrated aptitude in electrical engineering and technical contexts
- Excellent abstract reasoning and spatial visualization capabilities
- Superior manual dexterity with capacity for meticulous, high-precision work
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams while maintaining personal autonomy
Skills
Experience
Candidates should demonstrate a genuine passion for machinery and automated systems work, coupled with a keen interest in emerging technologies and electrical engineering. Prior internship or vocational work experience in technical or mechanical fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Secondary education level B (école secondaire B) completion required. Strong academic performance in mathematics, physics, and technical subjects preferred. Completion of the Multicheck aptitude test required as part of the application process.
