Richemont is hiring an Associate Watch Advisor in Dresden — client‑facing sales role requiring timepiece expertise and boutique service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑touch, bespoke client service to acquire, retain and grow a portfolio of watch clients in the boutique.
- Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across mechanical and quartz movements, complications and materials to guide client selection and build confidence.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and follow‑up activities.
- Maintain client records and follow clienteling workflows; coordinate appointments, reservations and bespoke services.
- Ensure boutique standards for visual merchandising, stock accuracy, inventory handling and presentation are consistently met.
- Manage point‑of‑sale transactions, returns and gift services in accordance with brand procedures.
- Liaise with after‑sales, repairs and logistics teams to schedule servicing and ensure seamless client experiences.
- Participate in product and service training, promotional events and local marketing initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Proven client‑facing retail experience, preferably within watches or luxury goods.
- High standards of professionalism, discretion and customer care appropriate to a luxury environment.
- Demonstrable aptitude for learning technical product details (movements, complications, materials).
- Strong numeracy and experience handling POS transactions and basic stock control.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods; ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Right to work in Germany.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of client‑facing retail experience; prior exposure to watches, luxury accessories or high‑end jewellery retail is highly desirable.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail training or formal watchmaking qualification is an advantage.
