Richemont seeks an experienced Business Analyst for its Client & Market team in Moscavide, Portugal to drive agile requirements and e-commerce platform excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead product backlog refinement, ensuring user stories are well-groomed, prioritized, and contain detailed functional requirements with actionable acceptance criteria
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards including clear Acceptance Criteria, User Story mapping, and Definition of Ready (DoR) for all incoming backlog items
  • Support development team autonomy by delivering clear, well-structured business requirements and functional specifications
  • Identify areas for product or workflow improvement using data-driven insights and market analysis
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Tech Team Lead in scoping features, mapping dependencies, and defining Minimum Viable Product (MVP) requirements for release planning
  • Act as bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications and vice versa
  • Proactively identify and resolve functional blockers, scope gaps, and business logic inconsistencies to ensure smooth development progress
  • Participate in cross-team alignment forums to identify upstream and downstream functional dependencies and ensure overarching solution alignment
  • Assist in preparing business case presentations, product roadmap definitions, and requirements alignment documentation for Quarterly Alignment Days

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in a software development environment
  • Understanding of business analysis practices within Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks (SAFe experience is a plus)
  • Familiarity with modern agile software delivery techniques such as Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and User Story Mapping
  • Proficiency in Agile requirements management and collaboration tools (JIRA and Confluence are a plus)
  • Technical background in database design, API integrations, or past experience as a Software Engineer (highly valued)
  • Basic understanding of Release Management, software product lifecycle, and feature deployment
  • Experience in Product Management or Project Management is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large, global e-commerce projects is highly valued
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business/project management, computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • BA/PM certification is a plus

Experience

3+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in software development environments, ideally within large-scale global e-commerce projects. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical teams in fast-paced, distributed environments. Past experience as a Software Engineer or in a technical capacity is highly regarded.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in business/project management, computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. BA or PM certification is desirable but not required.
