Richemont is hiring an AVP, L'Ecole in New York to lead educational and cultural programming for its maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision for L'Ecole in North America, aligning educational and cultural programming with Richemont maisons' brand and commercial objectives.
- Design and oversee a calendar of courses, exhibitions, masterclasses and public programmes that communicate craft, heritage and product expertise to trade, collectors and the public.
- Build and manage cross‑functional relationships with maisons, marketing, retail, heritage and external cultural partners to develop collaborative content and events.
- Lead a small multidisciplinary team and external faculty; recruit, mentor and evaluate staff and vendors to ensure pedagogical and operational excellence.
- Own programme P&L, budgeting and financial reporting; identify revenue opportunities (ticketing, private events, sponsorships) and manage cost control.
- Direct venue operations for events and classes in New York, ensuring brand‑consistent customer experiences, health & safety compliance and high service standards.
- Represent L'Ecole externally at industry forums, press events and partner meetings; act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs, audience metrics and participant feedback to continuously refine curriculum, marketing and commercial approaches.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership track record in cultural programming, museum/heritage education, arts management or brand education within the luxury sector.
- Demonstrable experience in programme design and curriculum development for adult learners and specialist audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L responsibility and revenue-generating cultural or educational projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating cross‑departmental and external partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; public speaking and media-facing experience desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in arts management, museum studies, business, humanities or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
