Donzé-Baume is hiring an Assistant Supply Chain in Les Breuleux, Switzerland — support procurement, inventory and logistics for a Swiss watchmaker.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day supply chain operations including purchase order processing, supplier follow-up and goods receipt coordination.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory records; perform cycle counts and investigate variances to ensure parts traceability.
- Assist with materials planning and demand forecasting to align component availability with production schedules.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, customs documentation and transport arrangements with carriers and suppliers.
- Liaise with production, quality and procurement teams to prioritise shortages and expedite critical components.
- Prepare and update supply chain documentation, KPIs and weekly status reports for management review.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise stock levels, lead times and supplier performance.
- Support ERP/MRP system data entry and master-data upkeep to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or a related discipline.
- Practical knowledge of inventory control, purchasing processes and materials planning.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and proven organisational skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across functions and with external suppliers; French language proficiency is an advantage.
- Capacity to prioritise under time constraints and to manage several concurrent follow-ups.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Experience
1–3 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing or precision-assembly environment; prior exposure to the watchmaking, micro-manufacturing or luxury goods sector is a strong advantage.
Education
Vocational diploma (e.g., commercial or logistics apprenticeship) or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or business administration.
