Montblanc Visual Merchandising Manager in Bangalore, India. Execute luxury retail VM strategy across boutiques with budget and team management responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute central visual merchandising strategy in accordance with guidelines from Montblanc HQ, implementing a yearly window and VM calendar aligned with global and local campaigns
- Create and implement window displays for key local moments and seasonal campaigns, including competitive analysis and market research on luxury retail visual trends
- Design smart zoning solutions for each boutique based on boutique specifics, traffic flow, client profiles, and business objectives
- Manage point-of-sale materials (POSM) and packaging inventory across all points of sale, with responsibility for ordering and stock maintenance
- Conduct regular boutique visits across India to update VM executions and oversee key window campaign implementations
- Manage annual VM budget for retail and wholesale channels, covering window décor, POSM, packaging materials, and local production
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of all visual merchandising initiatives
- Collaborate with Store Design Team on VM requirements for boutique openings and renovations, evaluating display capacity and specifications
- Train retail and wholesale teams on VM concepts, identifying and mentoring a VM champion per boutique for daily execution and management
- Provide VM training to retail and wholesale teams whenever new guidance is received from headquarters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Qualification in design or visual arts (preferred)
- 4–8 years of experience in visual merchandising
- Experience in luxury retail environments (preferred)
- Strong creative sensibility with exceptional aesthetic judgment
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision
- Knowledge of design software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills

4–8 years of professional experience in visual merchandising, with demonstrated expertise in luxury retail environments. Experience managing VM budgets, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and executing campaigns across multiple locations is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or postgraduate qualification preferred. Formal training or qualification in Design, Fine Arts, or a related visual discipline is advantageous.
