- Support the development and execution of seasonal merchandising strategies and assortments for high‑jewellery collections across channels and key accounts.
- Manage inventory allocation, replenishment and SKU rationalisation to optimise sell‑through and working capital across the network.
- Produce sales analyses, margin and markdown reporting, and demand forecasts to inform buying decisions and range planning.
- Coordinate product launches, in‑store rollouts and promotional initiatives with retail, visual merchandising and marketing teams.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal buying teams on delivery planning, quality inspections and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor category KPIs (sell‑through, GMROI, turn) and recommend corrective action to meet financial targets.
- Prepare merchandising presentations and commercial justifications for senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, finance, luxury brand management or a related discipline preferred.
- 3–5 years’ merchandising, buying or inventory planning experience within jewellery or luxury retail (corporate or wholesale preferred).
- Strong analytical proficiency with experience in sales forecasting, assortment planning and retail math.
- Deep product knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals, with an understanding of jewellery manufacturing and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with cross‑functional and international teams.
