Cartier internship: Assistant Global Merchandiser in Paris supporting jewelry and watchmaking product strategy for six months starting January 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the deployment of Merchandising operational activities, including continuous development and improvement of tools and processes used across the department
- Contribute to showroom organization in project mode with stakeholders, creating Merchandising Guidelines, product assortment models, and lifecycle mappings for regional distribution
- Conduct quantitative analyses and performance optimization recommendations by product typology, collection, geography, and boutique
- Create granular sales reporting and ad hoc analyses for merchandising governance meetings and category reviews
- Contribute to assortment guidelines and space planning recommendations for accessories categories
- Support product launches across network dimensions including quantities, assortments, and phasing strategies
- Conduct regular market trend monitoring and competitive intelligence
- Lead cross-functional projects with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Commercial teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's 1 or Master's 2 programme at a business school, university, or equivalent institution
- Minimum six months of significant professional experience in Merchandising, Marketing, or Business Analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong analytical capability
- Product sensitivity and commercial acumen
- Excellent relational skills with demonstrated proactivity and results orientation
- Fluent English language proficiency

First significant professional experience of 6 months in Merchandising, Marketing, or Business Analysis roles.
Education
Student in a business school, university, or equivalent programme at Master's 1 or Master's 2 level.
