Richemont in Paris seeks an Assistant Footwear Stylist (intern) — a hands‑on role supporting shoes design, prototyping and materials sourcing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the footwear stylist/designer in concept development, moodboards and seasonal direction.
- Produce hand and digital sketches, variant drawings and presentation materials for collection reviews.
- Assist with the preparation of technical packs and documentation for prototype development.
- Source and evaluate materials, leathers, trims and components in collaboration with suppliers and the materials team.
- Coordinate sample production, attend fittings and record fit and construction feedback for iterative revisions.
- Maintain sample library, organise archives and track sample requests and returns.
- Conduct trend research and competitor benchmarking to inform design proposals.
- Provide administrative support to the design unit, including meeting follow-ups and interdepartmental coordination.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognised footwear, fashion design or product design programme.
- Portfolio demonstrating footwear design, sketching and concept development.
- Foundational knowledge of shoe construction, lasts, soles and component terminology.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple sample requests and deadlines.
- Professional presentation skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to cross‑functional teams.

Education
