Alaïa Paris seeks a footwear design assistant intern (6 months, October 2026) with CAD and sketching expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct research and gather design inspirations including iconographic and vintage references via Photoshop
- Assist in sketch realization, colorization, presentations, and digital design refinements
- Support the tracking and development of footwear collections
- Organize and prepare design sketches and collection launch documents
- Organize and prepare meetings including mood boards and prototype presentations
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio workspace
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in final year of specialized footwear design school program
- Demonstrable passion for fashion and accessories
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Fluent in French and English (Italian a plus)
- Strong product knowledge and fashion culture awareness
- Previous footwear industry experience preferred

Previous experience in footwear design or accessories is advantageous; however, the role targets final-year students with strong foundational design skills and demonstrated passion for the discipline.
Education
Student in the final year of a specialized footwear or fashion design program at an accredited school.
