Richemont seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager in Seoul to support building operations, vendor management and H&S compliance for its Seoul premises.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations and upkeep of office and retail premises in Seoul, ensuring uninterrupted building services and occupant comfort.
  • Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and building fabric; liaise with in-house engineers and external contractors.
  • Manage vendor relationships: procure services, obtain quotes, monitor SLAs, and ensure timely invoicing and contract compliance.
  • Assist with workplace safety, fire systems, statutory inspections and local regulatory compliance; support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Oversee space moves, furniture installations and minor fit-out projects in coordination with internal stakeholders and external designers/contractors.
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, update maintenance schedules, and manage work orders through the computerized maintenance system.
  • Control small operational budgets, track costs and report on facilities KPIs to the Facilities Manager.
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to energy use, waste management and facilities lifecycle optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, building services or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications preferred: local safety certification or internationally recognised qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
  • Valid right to work in South Korea and familiarity with local building regulations and statutory inspection regimes.
  • Fluency in Korean and strong professional English communication skills preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of progressive facilities or building services experience, ideally within luxury retail, corporate offices or hospitality environments; demonstrable vendor management and MEP coordination experience required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, building services or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
