Cartier Area Manager – Cruises & Watch Specialists role in Coral Gables, FL, overseeing Caribbean and cruise network with $30M+ revenue responsibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve and monitor sell-out, market share, and sell-in objectives for assigned territories, conducting regular reviews and analysis to ensure optimal performance and identify corrective actions
- Set and monitor relevant KPIs (quantitative and qualitative) across approximately 6 Caribbean watch specialists and 20 cruise locations, with $30M+ annual sell-out responsibility
- Manage and reinforce partnerships continuously, acting as the primary liaison between Cartier and external partners to ensure strategic alignment and performance accountability
- Develop and maintain deep territorial expertise encompassing consumer demographics, economic factors, political dynamics, and tourism insights specific to the Latin America and Caribbean region
- Collect and analyze market intelligence across hotels, malls, cruise-ship terminals, and other strategic venues to identify growth opportunities and operational gaps
- Lead store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures in close collaboration with Commercial Performance & Operations, Store Design & Planning, and relevant departments
- Support and drive retailization of the external partner network through data analysis and the development of yearly strategic action plans
- Conduct frequent territory visits to maximize partnership opportunities and reinforce brand standards
- Lead client-centric strategies by ensuring adherence to the CARE Platform for proper client data collection and collaborating with Retail Operations and Learning & Development to address feedback
- Develop and execute PR, Media, CRM, and e-partner action plans aligned with corporate guidelines; serve as Cartier Ambassador at market events and with VIP clients
- Oversee brand image and visibility across assigned stores in coordination with Retail Operations, Store Design & Planning, and Marketing Teams, focusing on product and visual merchandising
- Implement strategic objectives for retail and specialist markets, overseeing auto-replenishment processes and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Review product assortments bi-annually with Marketing and Supply Chain teams, adjusting the three-year network plan based on market dynamics
- Support partner teams in talent development and performance management; identify and develop Cartier Ambassadors within the watch specialist network
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance Departments to ensure all agreements, contracts, and partner financial compliance remain current
- Contribute to transversal organizational projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or International Trade (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international sales, retail, and/or marketing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury industry; cruise industry experience is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and advanced data analytics platforms
- Fluent in English and Spanish; French and Portuguese proficiency is a strong advantage
- Proven expertise in luxury sales and marketing strategies and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with polished presentation abilities
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and adaptability across diverse international markets and business practices

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international sales, retail, and marketing within the luxury goods sector. Preferred experience in the cruise industry and the Latin America and Caribbean markets. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of driving revenue growth in complex, multicultural environments while managing strategic partnerships across geographically dispersed networks.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or International Trade is required. An MBA is preferred.
