Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of EHS (environment, health, safety) projects across the site, from scoping to follow-up.
  • Contribute to workplace risk assessments and help implement corrective actions in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining EHS documentation, procedures and project status reports.
  • Collect, analyse and visualise safety and environmental data to support management decisions and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in internal inspections, incident investigations and corrective/preventive action tracking.
  • Coordinate communications and logistics with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders for project activities.
  • Support awareness-raising and training initiatives related to safety and environmental best practices.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognised apprenticeship, vocational or higher-education programme in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong interest in occupational safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with shopfloor teams and corporate stakeholders; professional proficiency in French is highly recommended given the location.
  • Organisational aptitude and capacity to manage multiple small projects concurrently.
  • Comfortable working with data and producing concise written reports and presentations.

Experience

No prior professional experience is required; previous internships or practical experience in health & safety, environmental projects or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Currently enrolled in an apprenticeship, vocational training programme or undergraduate course in EHS, environmental science, occupational health & safety, engineering or a related field.
