Richemont seeks an AI Lead for its Digital Acceleration Team in Hong Kong to turn Generative and Predictive AI opportunities into business impact, leading initiatives from experimentation through production. The role brings together strategic roadmapping, project delivery, stakeholder alignment, risk and change management, and benefits realization. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate the AI strategy into a focused roadmap of Predictive AI and Generative AI use cases, leading initiatives from discovery and experimentation through scalable production deployment.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope and realistic timelines, allocate resources, and manage execution to deliver on time and within budget.
- Engage stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations, manage communications, resolve conflicts, and build alignment across regional and global business, data and technology teams; help translate business challenges into valuable, feasible AI opportunities.
- Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and address challenges proactively; ensure AI solutions meet appropriate standards for performance, reliability, data privacy, security and responsible AI.
- Manage changes to scope, timelines and resources, assess their impact, and apply change-control processes to preserve project integrity and minimize disruption.
- Adapt delivery choices as technologies and business priorities evolve, while supporting adoption of new AI-enabled ways of working.
- Provide regular progress updates, communicate milestones and risks, and prepare stakeholder reports to support transparency and accountability.
- Identify and resolve project-related problems using analytical and critical thinking, developing effective solutions and escalating issues as needed.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, test new approaches rapidly, and assess which ideas are valuable and robust enough to advance beyond experimentation.
- Ensure project outcomes align with business objectives, track and measure benefits, and work with stakeholders to realize intended value.
- Initiate, plan, execute and deliver projects against clear objectives aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; an advanced degree is a plus, particularly in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI and Predictive AI, including LLMs, machine learning and modern AI development approaches, from experimentation through production.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL and cloud environments; familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and MLOps practices is highly valued.
- Proven experience and certifications in Program Management and Agile methodologies.
- Genuine passion for the evolution of GenAI, with curiosity and a hands-on mindset to explore, experiment and turn new possibilities into real applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with ambiguity, willing to challenge the status quo and energized by taking ideas from concept to impact.
- Change management and/or consulting experience is a plus.
