Richemont — Hong Kong: AI Lead to define AI strategy, build ML platforms and deploy generative AI across luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive a cross-brand AI strategy that translates business priorities (client experience, merchandising, marketing, supply chain) into deliverable ML roadmaps.
- Architect, build and operationalize production-grade machine learning and generative AI solutions, including LLM-based applications for personalization, content generation and search.
- Lead, recruit and mentor a multidisciplinary AI team (data scientists, ML engineers, MLOps) and coordinate with data engineering, product and IT stakeholders.
- Establish MLOps best practices: CI/CD for models, model monitoring, versioning, reproducibility and scalable deployment (cloud and on-prem as required).
- Own model governance, performance metrics, risk assessment, data privacy compliance and documentation to meet regulatory and group-wide standards.
- Partner withブランド (brand) teams and commercial leaders to prototype pilots, quantify ROI and scale proven AI solutions across maisons.
- Manage external vendor relationships and evaluate third-party models, platforms and research partnerships to accelerate capability building.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing AI/ML teams and delivering production ML systems across multiple products or business units.
- Deep technical expertise in modern ML paradigms, including deep learning, natural language processing and large language models.
- Solid understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management, data governance and compliance obligations (e.g., data privacy).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate technical trade-offs into business decisions.
Skills
Experience
Typically 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning or AI, with at least 3 years in a leadership role responsible for teams and delivery of production-grade ML/AI systems; experience in retail, luxury or customer-facing businesses is an advantage.
Education
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
