Richemont seeks an After‑Sales Watchmaker in Plan‑les‑Ouates, Switzerland — technical repairs and servicing of luxury timepieces.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, disassembly, repair and reassembly of mechanical and quartz movements in accordance with maison technical standards.
  • Execute maintenance operations including timing regulation, parts replacement, polishing, case and bracelet servicing, and water‑resistance restoration.
  • Conduct quality control and final inspection using timing machines, microscopes and water‑resistance testers to ensure conformity with brand tolerances.
  • Document all interventions accurately in the service management system and produce technical reports for client service advisors.
  • Collaborate with client service advisors to provide repair estimates, technical explanations and realistic turnaround times to clients.
  • Work closely with spare parts, logistics and technical departments to source components and escalate technical anomalies to manufacture engineers.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from a recognised watchmaking school or equivalent apprenticeship (WOSTEP or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven technical knowledge of mechanical and quartz movements used in luxury timepieces.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and experience using timing machines, microscopes and precision tools.
  • Familiarity with after‑sales procedures, quality standards and traceability/reporting systems used by luxury maisons.
  • Professional attitude, reliability and capacity to work to exacting brand standards under time constraints.
