Richemont seeks an After‑Sales Watchmaker in Plan‑les‑Ouates, Switzerland for client service and luxury watch repairs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair and reassemble mechanical and quartz watch movements in accordance with maison technical standards.
- Perform complete overhauls, regulation, timing and testing using industry-standard timing machines and demagnetisers.
- Execute case and bracelet restoration tasks (polishing, sizing, gasket replacement) and ensure water‑resistance tests are correctly performed and documented.
- Process after‑sales jobs from intake to completion: generate technical reports, update service records and communicate repair scope and timing to client service teams.
- Adhere to brand quality-control procedures and warranty policies; escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or central repair centres.
- Maintain atelier tools and equipment, ensure traceability of parts and consumables, and contribute to a safe, organised work environment.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives within the service department.
Qualifications
- Diploma from a recognised watchmaking school (WOSTEP, equivalent) or formal apprenticeship in horology.
- Proven technical competence with mechanical calibres; experience with complications such as chronographs, GMTs or calendars is preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity, fine‑mechanics aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of industry standard testing equipment and service documentation practices.
- Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland (employment documentation as required).
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years' hands‑on experience servicing luxury mechanical watches in an after‑sales or atelier environment, with demonstrable experience on complex calibres and brand‑level quality standards.
Education
Certified watchmaker diploma (WOSTEP or equivalent) or formal horology apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will be located in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland, with easy access to Geneva.
