Richemont seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist in Munich, Germany. Join a leading luxury goods company to manage accounts payable processes and contribute to financial reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the seamless execution of accounts payable processes for esteemed brands.
  • Review, code, and post invoices, ensuring accurate and efficient processing with or without purchase order references.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, particularly between the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring transparency and precision in accounting records.
  • Contribute actively to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers regarding invoice and payment inquiries, fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Generate reports and analyses within accounts payable to provide valuable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification (e.g., certified tax clerk).
  • Minimum of four years of experience in accounts payable.
  • In-depth knowledge of HGB accounting standards.

Skills

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Independent, structured, and meticulous work ethic. Fluent in German, with strong written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency is advantageous.

Experience

A minimum of four years of professional experience in accounts payable is required.

Education

Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification.
