Cartier seeks an Accounts Payable Associate in Paris. Manage vendor invoices, reconciliation, and supplier relationships in a full-time, permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and manage vendor invoices through electronic mailbox and receipt scanning, recording entries via SAP ERP system
- Reconcile invoices against purchase orders (PO) and verify analytical and accounting allocations with appropriate VAT treatment
- Serve as primary liaison for vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments, managing disputes and follow-ups
- Monitor outstanding invoices, track and verify vendor follow-ups and statements within assigned scope
- Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and policies across the accounts payable function
- Process expense reports via the CONCUR software
- Provide support to the accounting team on supplementary tasks including fixed asset inventories and other special projects
Qualifications
- Diploma at Bac+2 to Bac+3 level in accounting or finance (BTS CG, BUT GEA with finance-accounting specialization, Professional License, or DCG)
- Proficiency in general accounting principles and tax regulations, particularly VAT deductibility rules
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with accounting or ERP software systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, Cegid, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capability to process high volumes of documents without error

Experience
2–5 years in a similar accounts payable or vendor accounting role is preferred; however, motivated recent graduates or entry-level candidates with strong foundational knowledge may be considered.
Education
Bac+2 to Bac+3 qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., BTS Comptabilité et Gestion, BUT GEA option finance-comptabilité, Professional License, or DCG).
