Richemont Accounts Executive (6-month maternity cover) in Singapore. Join the luxury leader's finance team managing AP operations and vendor management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely through the VIM system, ensuring proper GL coding, cost center allocation, and compliance with tax and accounting requirements
  • Follow up with buyers to register unrecorded vendors in SAP and reconcile invoices against vendor statements of accounts
  • Prepare payment proposals and actively prevent duplicate vendor payments prior to submission to the regional team
  • Review and validate Concur expense claims for policy compliance, business justification, and reasonable expenditure
  • Ensure all Concur claims are properly authorized, documented, and reimbursed within established deadlines
  • Allocate prepaid and accrued expenses to respective cost centers during financial close cycles
  • Prepare and review open purchase orders without goods receipt or invoice reports monthly and follow up with buyers on outstanding invoices
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to PO, MDG Supplier, and Concur workflows
  • Conduct regular training sessions on Concur, PO, and vendor management processes for employees and new team members

Qualifications

  • Recognized Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably from a multinational corporation or large accounting firm; recent graduates may be considered
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and automate templates for improved efficiency
  • Working knowledge of accounting software and enterprise resource planning systems, particularly SAP
  • Ability to perform accurately under pressure and tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adaptability to matrix organizational structures
  • Proactive, organized, meticulous mindset with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Experience
